Renowned Nigerian pastor and General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has announced the commencement of the church’s annual fasting and prayer program, which is set to begin on January 11, 2025. This event is a highly anticipated spiritual exercise for millions of followers across the globe, marking the beginning of a fresh year of faith, commitment, and intercession.
In a statement released through the church’s media office, Pastor Adeboye emphasized the importance of fasting as a key spiritual discipline that empowers believers to deepen their relationship with God. The fasting period is expected to run for 40 days, concluding on February 19, 2025, and will be accompanied by prayer meetings and teachings focused on renewal, breakthroughs, and divine direction for the year ahead.
