Renowned Nigerian preacher and founder of the Household of God Church, Pastor Chris Okotie, has officially announced the commencement date for his church’s annual fasting and prayer program for 2025. The highly anticipated spiritual event will begin on January 15, 2025, and run for a period of 21 days, culminating on February 4, 2025.
Pastor Okotie, known for his powerful teachings and commitment to spiritual growth, made the announcement during a special televised broadcast on Sunday. The fasting and prayer program, themed “Divine Intervention for the Year Ahead,” is expected to draw thousands of believers from across Nigeria and beyond, who will participate both in-person at the Household of God Church in Lagos and through various online platforms.
“The beginning of the year is a pivotal time for spiritual renewal,” Pastor Okotie said in his message. “As we seek God’s direction and favor for 2025, we will come together in fasting, prayer, and worship to align ourselves with His will for our lives, our nation, and the world.”
The program is set to include daily devotional teachings, worship services, and focused prayers on various issues, including personal growth, national prosperity, peace, and global unity.
