Dr. Daniel Olukoya Leads Prayer for the Needy, Calls for Global Unity in 2025

Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), led a deeply inspiring prayer session today, focusing on divine intervention for the needy in 2025. The service, which took place at the church’s headquarters in Lagos, gathered thousands of believers, as well as global viewers tuning in via live broadcast, all united in faith to pray for the less fortunate.

In his opening address, Dr. Olukoya expressed a profound sense of urgency for Christians to take collective responsibility for the well-being of the poor, the sick, and those suffering from economic hardship around the world. “As we step into 2025, our hearts must go out to those who are in dire need of God’s provision, healing, and restoration. We are called not only to pray but to act,” Dr. Olukoya said. “Today, we come together to ask God for mercy, for His grace to extend to the suffering, and for His power to break the chains of poverty and despair.”

The prayer session was an impassioned cry for divine intervention on behalf of those who face hunger, lack of shelter, illness, and oppression. Dr. Olukoya prayed for the protection of vulnerable families, the alleviation of suffering, and the empowerment of communities to rise above poverty and hardship in 2025.

“Lord, we ask that You open doors of provision for the needy, bring healing to the sick, and restore hope to those whose dreams have been shattered by hardship,” Dr. Olukoya fervently prayed. “May this year be a year of miracles and breakthroughs for those who have been forgotten by society.”

During the service, testimonies were shared by MFM members who have personally witnessed the impact of the church’s outreach programs, including feeding initiatives, medical missions, and financial assistance to the impoverished. Dr. Olukoya encouraged the congregation to continue offering support to these programs, underscoring the power of collective faith and action.

“Prayer is powerful, but it is our actions that make the greatest impact. Let us not wait for others to act. Let each one of us make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling,” he said.

As part of the prayer event, Dr. Olukoya also announced the launch of new initiatives in 2025 aimed at addressing the root causes of poverty. These initiatives include expanded food relief efforts, vocational training programs for youth, and a comprehensive healthcare outreach targeting remote communities. MFM Ministries will also be increasing its international partnerships to provide aid to regions hit hardest by conflict and natural disasters.

Dr. Olukoya’s message emphasized the importance of faith and practical action in addressing societal needs. “Let us not be content with merely praying for the needy. We must be ready to give, to serve, and to stand as advocates for those who have no voice,” he concluded.
