Plateau State in Crisis: Surge in Christian Killings Sparks Outrage and Urgent Calls for Action

The latest attacks occurred in April 2025, targeting predominantly Christian communities in Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas. These incidents are part of a broader pattern of violence that has plagued the Middle Belt region, fueled by longstanding land disputes between nomadic herders and sedentary farmers.
